Vladimir Badratdinov is a retired Russian military officer born on April 10, 1947, in Vyshniy Volochek, Tver Oblast, RSFSR, USSR. He became a rear admiral in 1989 and a candidate of military sciences in 1997. Badratdinov served as the commander of a submarine cruiser crew since 1980 and from 1983 to 1990, he was the deputy commander of the submarine forces of the Pacific Fleet. After that, he led the training center of the Russian Naval Fleet from 1990 to 2003.
