Ефтим Манев was a Macedonian poet and translator born in 1931 in Кавадарци, Yugoslavia. He worked as an editor at the publishing house 'Македонска книга' and the magazine 'Современост'. A member of the Macedonian Writers' Society since 1967, he published works including 'Моклишките ангели' and 'Ѕвездата на Витлеем'. Over his career, he received several translation awards and translated over 80 prose and poetry works, including 'Тихият Дон' by Mikhail Sholokhov. He passed away in 2010.
