He began his career in 1977 as an investigator and rose through the ranks, becoming deputy director of the National Investigative Service from 1994 to 2005. He held various positions in the State Security and eventually served as a deputy minister of internal affairs before his tragic death by suicide on August 11, 2018, following a family dispute.
