Mohamed El-Sayed Deif (August 13, 1945 - March 19, 2019) was an Egyptian Quran reader known for his significant contributions in this field. Born in the village of Tannah in Dakahlia Governorate, he memorized the Quran by the age of eleven. He studied at the Institute of Recitations in Shubra, Cairo, and joined Egyptian Radio in 1984, serving as a reader for over 30 years. He also worked for Egyptian television. He passed away on March 19, 2019, at the age of 74, with his funeral held at Al-Adl Mosque in Mansoura.
