He faced political repression, losing his father in 1937 and being incarcerated during the war. After his release, he worked on significant projects, including the Sverdlovsk Coal Combine building and the Sverdlovsk television center. He later taught architecture in Kazakhstan and Penza, eventually passing away in Minsk.
