Yuri Mikhailovich Novikov (August 6, 1946 – September 6, 2018) was a Soviet and Russian ceramic artist, designer, and educator. He was the founder of the 'Yuri Novikov Museum of Ceramics' and a creative workshop in Sochi that specialized in the maiolica technique. Representing the St. Petersburg school of ceramics, he was a leading expert in artistic ceramics in Russia, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, and a participant in over 100 international and all-Union exhibitions.
