Evgeny Alexandrovich Savintsev (February 26, 1925, Tomsk – December 13, 2015, Moscow) was a Colonel of the KGB of the USSR and an illegal intelligence officer. He served as the deputy commander of the special unit 'Vympel' from 1981 to 1988 and was the commander of the special unit 'Cascade' from 1982 to 1983. His contributions played a significant role in the operations of the KGB during his tenure.
