Valeriy Mykolayovych Korotkyi (born 1937) is a Ukrainian surgeon, Doctor of Medical Sciences (1984), and Professor (1986). He is recognized as a laureate of the State Prize of the Ukrainian SSR in the field of science and technology in 1986 and was honored as a distinguished worker of science and technology in Ukraine in 1999. His contributions to the medical field have earned him significant recognition and respect within the scientific community.
