Felix Ghzoğyan (Rafael Hovhannes Ghzoğyan) was a significant Armenian military figure born on January 15, 1943, in Shamlugh, Armenian SSR, USSR. He held the rank of Major General in the Armenian Armed Forces and was the head of the command staff during the liberation of Shushi. Ghzoğyan served in various roles within the Soviet Armed Forces and participated actively in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict from 1991 to 1994. He was recognized for his contributions with various honors, including the 'Combat Cross' of Nagorno-Karabakh. He passed away on July 10, 2019, in Yerevan, Armenia.
