Viktor Vassiljevitš Gratšov (1923-1996) was a prominent Russian rocket engineer and designer. He graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University in 1951 and began working in a rocket manufacturing plant in Dnipro. Gratšov significantly contributed to strategic missile complexes development until 1991 and became known for his role as the chief designer of the R-12 medium-range ballistic missile in 1955. His work has had a lasting impact on the field of aerospace engineering.
