Petăr Hambarliyski was a Bulgarian partisan from the 'Hristo Botev' Soldier Partisan Battalion. Born on February 8, 1921, in Baltadzhii (now part of Sekirovo, Rakovski), he joined the partisans in 1943 under Lieutenant Diko Petrov. He participated in battles until he was killed by police on May 30, 1944, near Yablanitsa. In the 1950s, a memorial plaque was placed at his home, and in the 1980s, a monument was erected in his honor in his birthplace, although it was later moved.
