Gennady Petrovich Tyusin (1938–2019) was a Russian engineer known for his expertise in electronic warfare systems. He served as the director of the Taganrog Research Institute of Communications from 1984 to 1988 and was awarded the USSR State Prize in 1977 for his contributions to developing specialized electronic warfare systems. He earned a Candidate of Technical Sciences degree in 1969 and held various positions at the institute throughout his career until 2004. Tyusin received several honors including the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.
