Vladimir Alexandrovich Otellin (born January 6, 1938) is a prominent Soviet and Russian histologist. He is a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (1997) and the Russian Academy of Sciences (2014). He graduated from Kursk Medical Institute in 1955, defended his PhD in 1964, and conducted significant research on neural connections in the brain. He has authored over 350 scientific works, including 11 monographs, and has been recognized for his contributions to experimental medicine and histology.
