何祚镛 (February 1927 - present) is a professor at Harbin Engineering University, originally from Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, with ancestral roots in Wangjiang, Anhui Province. He graduated from Fudan University in 1951 with a degree in physics. He has held various academic positions, including lecturer and professor at Harbin Military Engineering Institute and Harbin Shipbuilding Engineering Institute, as well as serving as the director of the Underwater Acoustics Research Section. He has authored several books on acoustics.
