Chen Shiju (April 14, 1909 – July 22, 1995) was a Chinese general in the People's Liberation Army and a significant figure in the establishment of the People's Republic of China. Born in Jingmen, Hubei, he participated in various key events, including the Autumn Harvest Uprising and the Long March. Chen held several leadership roles during the Second Sino-Japanese War and the Chinese Civil War, contributing to military strategies. After the founding of the PRC, he served in numerous military and educational capacities, ultimately becoming a prominent military leader in China.
