Luo Shunchu (December 11, 1914 – February 24, 1981), originally named Luo Ruming, was a prominent general of the People's Liberation Army in China and a founding member of the army. He was born in Daiyangba of Xikou Township in Shanghang County, Fujian Province. In 1955, he received the Second Class August First Medal, First Class Independent Freedom Medal, and the First Class Liberation Medal for his distinguished military service.
