Zhou Xingming is a Chinese computer scientist and system architecture expert, born on December 4, 1938, in Shanghai, and hails from Yuyao, Zhejiang. He is a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and one of the main developers of the Chinese Galaxy series supercomputers, serving as the chief designer of the 'Galaxy-Ⅱ'. He is often referred to as the 'Father of Chinese Giant Computers' and is currently the dean of the Software School at Tongji University.
