Volodymyr Prokopovych Kozhymiako (born August 8, 1945, in Lida, Grodno Region, Belarus - June 8, 2017, in Vinnytsia) was a Ukrainian scientist, head of the Department of Laser and Optoelectronic Technology at Vinnytsia National Technical University from 1999 to 2017. He earned a Doctor of Technical Sciences degree in 1989 and became a professor the same year. In 2001, he was honored as a Distinguished Figure of Science and Technology of Ukraine and was an academician of the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Ukraine.
