She graduated in Yugoslav literature from the Philosophical Faculty in Novi Sad. Kovacevic has worked as a journalist for 'Rusko slovo,' served as the chief editor of the magazine 'Mak,' and worked as a culture editor and general reporter for the daily newspaper 'Dnevnik' until her retirement.
