He is a specialist in information technologies, a Doctor of Technical Sciences, and a professor. He has received several awards, including the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology in 2018, and the Council of Ministers of the USSR Prize in Science and Technology in 1984. He is also the head of the Department of Computer Engineering at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and has authored over 280 scientific papers.
