Azm Bahzad was a renowned Urdu poet from Pakistan, originally named Mukhtar Ahmed. Born on December 31, 1958, in Karachi, he was the son of the prominent poet Afsar Bahzad. His grandfather, Bahzad Lucknowi, was also a famous Urdu poet. His poetry collection titled 'Tabeer Se Pehle' was published before his passing away. Azm Bahzad died on March 4, 2011, in Karachi and is buried in Muhammad Shah Graveyard, North Karachi.
