Dobrzyński worked as a journalist from 1928 and was actively involved in the Polish resistance during World War II under the pseudonym 'Paweł.' He was captured and imprisoned after the Warsaw Uprising. After the war, he returned to journalism and held various positions in media organizations in Warsaw.
