Xu Chuan (December 30, 1929 – March 6, 1991) was a Chinese newspaper activist from Taixian, Jiangsu. He served as the deputy director and editor-in-chief of Sichuan Daily and held positions as a member of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and as the Minister of Propaganda. Additionally, he was the vice chairman of the All-China Journalists Association.
