Boris Eduardovich Malyugin, born on October 28, 1965, in Moscow, is a prominent Russian ophthalmologist and medical scientist. He holds a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree and serves as a professor. Since 2001, he has been the Deputy General Director for Science at the MNTK 'Eye Microsurgery.' Malyugin has chaired the Ophthalmologists' Society of Russia since 2015 and received the title of Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation in 2018. He became a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2022.
