Eom Du-seop (1919-2016) was a South Korean Protestant pastor and mystic born in Hamhung, North Korea. He graduated from the Presbyterian Theological Seminary after two years at Pyeongyang Theological Seminary. Ordained in 1948, he began his ministry at Nammyung Church. In 1979, he founded Eunsung Monastery, focusing on spiritual retreats from 1989 onwards. Furthermore, he established Eunsung Publishing Company in 1974, contributing significantly to spiritual literature. He was laid to rest at the family cemetery of Eunsung Monastery.
