Qadir Magsi is a Pakistani politician and founding chairman of the Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STP). He was born on December 25, 1962, in Thatta and graduated from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences. Magsi was involved in student politics as a member of the Jeay Sindh Students' Federation and later established the Taraqi Pasand Wing. His political tenure has been marked by controversy, including accusations of involvement in the 1988 Hyderabad massacre, where he was ultimately acquitted in 2003.
