Qāsim Tawfīq is a Jordanian novelist and short story writer born in 1954. He spent his childhood and youth in Amman, where he studied and completed his university education at the University of Jordan, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in literature. After graduating, he worked in the banking sector in various Arab countries and worldwide. In 2013, he retired from his position as assistant general manager at a Jordanian bank to dedicate himself to his literary project in novel writing.
