Qi Guangpu is a Chinese freestyle skier born on October 20, 1990, in Suzhou, China. He began his career in acrobatic jumps at the age of 10 in Changchun and has been part of the Chinese national team since 2006. Qi achieved notable successes including a 7th place finish at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and winning his first World Cup event in the 2010/11 season, where he also became the overall World Cup champion. He won the World Championship in 2013 and defended his title in 2015, placing 4th and 7th in subsequent Olympic appearances.
