Qian Sanqiang (October 16, 1913 - June 28, 1992) was a notable Chinese nuclear physicist who played a central role in China's nuclear weapons program and the development of its nuclear industry. Known as the 'Father of China's Atomic Bomb', he was one of the key scientists in the Two Bombs, One Satellite project. Coincidentally, China conducted its first nuclear bomb test on Qian's 51st birthday. His contributions were pivotal in establishing China as a nuclear power.
