Qingfeng Yin (February 8, 1946 – December 9, 1993) was a Republic of China Navy colonel born in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. He relocated to Kaohsiung, Taiwan during the Second Chinese Civil War in 1949. Yin graduated from the Naval Engineering Academy in 1975. He served as the Executive Director of the Weapons Systems Management Office at the Navy General Headquarters. Tragically, he died when a heavy object struck him, causing him to fall into the sea. His body was found on December 10, 1993, near Wuyan Cape in Yilan County.
