James Quentin Stafford-Fraser is a notable computer scientist best known for creating the Trojan Room coffee pot, the world's first webcam. He studied Computer Science at the University of Cambridge and operated the first internet server at the university in 1992. He contributed to the original Virtual Network Computing and worked on an interactive whiteboard project. He is a founder or co-founder of several companies and organizations, including Newnham Research and Cambridge Visual Networks.
