R. Dhanuskodi Athithan is an Indian politician born on March 6, 1953. He served as a member of the 14th Lok Sabha, representing the Tirunelveli constituency in Tamil Nadu for the Indian National Congress party. Athithan was involved in a serious road accident on August 6, 2006, near Vaagaikulam, which left him critically injured. Tragically, his wife, Indra Devi Adithan, lost her life in the same incident.
