She made history in 2006 as the first legally blind person to complete the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, which spans over 1,049 miles in Alaska. Scdoris achieved her best performance in 2009, finishing 45th in the race, aided by Tim Osmar, who was returning to the event after an injury. Her accomplishments highlight her determination and ability to overcome challenges in extreme sports.
