Rachel Morningstar Hoffman was a 23-year-old woman who became a victim of a tragic incident after being pressured to act as a police informant in a drug sting operation in Tallahassee, Florida. She was murdered by two drug dealers on May 7, 2008, shortly after her involvement. Her body was discovered two days later near Perry, Florida. The circumstances surrounding her death led to the creation of 'Rachel's Law', which established stricter regulations for law enforcement regarding the use of undercover informants.
