Rodion Kertanty, also known as Radion Kertanti, is a Russian-born Ossetian freestyle wrestler who represented Slovakia at the Olympics. Born on January 9, 1971, in Chikola, USSR, he began wrestling under Achsarbek Makojev and later trained in Vladikavkaz. After moving to Slovakia in 1993, he achieved citizenship in 1996 and competed in the Atlanta Olympics. Kertanty also had a notable coaching career, founding the Gladiators Team and serving as head coach for Slovakia's freestyle wrestling team since 2016. His influence extends to the development of wrestling in Slovakia post-1993.
