Raed Abu Soud is a Jordanian engineer and politician born on February 14, 1958. He has held several key positions in the Jordanian government, first serving as Minister of Transport from 2000 to 2003. He also served as Minister of Public Works and Housing between 2003 and 2005 and as Minister of Water and Irrigation in 2005 and again from November 2007 to December 2009. In 2010, he joined the board of directors of Nama/Consultus, a consulting firm focused on various sectors in the MENA region. He held a ministerial position again in 2018.
