Rafael Eduardo Isea Romero is a Venezuelan politician, born on February 18, 1968, in Maracay. He served as the Governor of Aragua State from 2008 to 2012. A graduate of the Venezuelan Military Academy, he participated in Hugo Chávez's 1992 coup attempt and later represented Venezuela at the Inter-American Development Bank from 2001 to 2004. Elected to the National Assembly in 2005, he became Deputy Minister of Finance in 2007 and then Minister of Finance in 2008. Currently, Isea resides in the United States, working as an Amazon courier.
