Rafic Nahra is an Arab Catholic priest born on January 27, 1959, in Ismailia, Egypt. He serves as the vicar for Israel in the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem. Ordained as a priest in 1992 for the Paris Diocese, he has been active in the Jerusalem Patriarchate since 2004. On March 11, 2022, Pope Francis appointed him titular bishop of Verbena and auxiliary bishop of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, with his episcopal ordination occurring on April 30, 2022, at the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth.
