Ragnar Grøm (1927-2018) was a Norwegian theologian, author, and hymn-writer. He worked for many years at Bergen College of Education as a lecturer, later becoming an associate professor of Christian studies and religion. Grøm served as chair of the central board of the Norwegian Church Music Federation for 14 years and was an honorary member of the organization. He was the editor of 'Norsk kirkesang' and led the federation's publishing unit until it was dissolved in 2001. Grøm also translated hymns and contributed to several publications.
