Ragnar Fredrik Nygren, known as "Rock-Ragge", was a Swedish musician born on December 13, 1938, in Stockholm, and he gained national fame in 1957. He formed the band Rock-Ragge & His Four Comets the same year, achieving success with their performances and their first EP on the Decca label. Nygren was influential in the Swedish rock scene, as evidenced by references from other artists. In the 1970s, he was a key figure in Rockfolket, blending rock'n'roll with theatrical performances. He passed away on April 2, 2011, after battling cancer.
