Dame Raigh Edith Roe (née Kurts) was an influential Australian farmer and advocate for rural women, active from 1941 in the Australian Country Women's Association (CWA). She held several leadership positions including branch president, Western Australian state president, and national president. Elected World President of the Associated Country Women of the World in 1977, she represented nearly nine million women in 74 countries. Additionally, she served as a commissioner for the Australian Broadcasting Commission in 1978. Her biography, 'She's No Milkmaid,' was published in 1991.
