Raiisa Fedorivna Kovbasiuk (born January 10, 1928, in Kherson) was a microbiologist and virologist. She obtained a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree in 1973 and became a professor in 1980. Kovbasiuk served as a professor in the Department of Food Storage Technology and Grain Science from 1974 to 1978 and in the Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology from 1978 to 1994. Additionally, she was the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Extramural Education from 1976 to 1977.
