Rajiv Ranjan Singh, commonly known as Lalan Singh, is a prominent Indian politician born on 24 January 1955. He currently serves as the 11th Minister of Panchayati Raj and the 3rd Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying since 2024. He represents Munger in the 17th Lok Sabha as a member of Janata Dal (United). Singh was the national president of JD(U) from July 31, 2021, to December 29, 2023, and has previously held key leadership positions within the party, including being a member of the Bihar Legislative Council and various Lok Sabha terms.
