Raj Wali Shah Khattak (1952 – 2015) was a prominent Pashto-language poet, critic, and writer from Pakistan. He published books on Pashto research and compiled over 100 critical reviews of academic works. Awarded the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz by Gen. Parvez Musharraf for his contributions to Pashto literature, Khattak served as Director of the Pashto Academy at the University of Peshawar from 1995 to 2004. His work in modern Pashto poetry, particularly the collection 'Sangzar', has been highly regarded.
