Ralph K. Rottet (1911–1971) was a distinguished lieutenant general in the U.S. Marine Corps, known for his service during World War II and later as Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans and Programs. Born in Indiana, he graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy, and served as a naval aviator. He commanded Marine Aircraft Group 31 during significant operations in the Pacific Theatre, receiving numerous awards for valor. Rottet's career continued through the Korean War and into administrative roles, culminating in his retirement in 1968.
