Ramiz Jafarov (December 10, 1974 – November 6, 2020) was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Azerbaijani Special Forces and a participant in the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War where he was declared a martyr and a national hero. He fought in battles in the Cabrail and Shusha areas during the war that began on September 27, 2020, and played a significant role in the liberation of several settlements and strategic points over 40 days. He was killed in the Shusha region on November 6, 2020.
