He plays for Helio Polis Club and made history in 2004 by becoming the youngest player ever to win the World Championship at age 16. Ashour led Egypt to a second-place finish in Team Championships in 2004. He also won the World Junior Championship twice and played a key role in Egypt's dominant performance in international squash. He is praised for his exceptional skills, movement, and sportsmanship, earning him recognition as one of the greats in the sport.
