Randy Dunton is a former head men's basketball coach known for his tenure at Liberty University. He initially served as an assistant coach and was named interim head coach during the 1997-1998 season. After a brief hiatus, Dunton returned to lead the Flames to a successful season yielding a Big South Conference championship and an NCAA Tournament berth in 2004. However, he faced challenges in subsequent years, leading to the non-renewal of his contract. Later, he coached a U17 girls' basketball team and took on the role of head coach for the women's basketball team at Virginia University of Lynchburg.
