Randal 'Randy' Duane Swartzmiller, born May 14, 1960, is an American politician associated with the Democratic Party. He served as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates for the 1st district from 2000 until losing his re-election bid in 2014. He returned to the House from 2018 to 2020 and then ran unsuccessfully for the West Virginia Senate. After narrowly losing to Senate Majority Whip Ryan Weld in 2020, he announced his candidacy for the Senate again in 2022, aiming to fill a seat left vacant by former Sen. William Ihlenfeld.
