Ranjit Kumar Das, born on December 1, 1965, is an Indian politician and journalist from Assam. He has been serving as the Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development, Food and Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs in the Himanta Biswa Sarma cabinet since 2021. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he served as a member of the Assam Legislative Assembly from 2011 to 2021. He was the Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly from 2016 to 2017 and became the state unit president of BJP from 2016 to 2021.
